1StrawberryLetter

🙇🏻‍♀️ I have been consistently blown away by the handmade crafts and care people here have put into swaps for me. Truly, thank you!! Feel free to reach out. I'm very happy to be pals &/or friends. ♡ ♡ ♡

⚠️ My mail has been arriving at wildly unpredictable times—sometimes shockingly fast, other times appallingly slow! I mark swaps sent when I actually mail them. If anything goes missing or you have concerns about delivery, please message me. I'm happy to work things out, including resending when appropriate.

If I haven't rated your swap, I either haven't received it yet or, in one exceptional case, I'm letting an issue go rather than leaving a rating of 3 or lower.

⛑️ Safety boundaries: Please don't reproduce my artwork or use it for AI training/generation. Please don't put my Swap-Bot username on envelopes. Please don't use my Swap-Bot mailing addresses for FBs. (Much appreciated!)

hi! I’m 1🍓

I'm learning to slow down and savor the moment. Definitely trying to get more sleep. Direct (kind) speech works best for me. I take no offense and work pretty literally.

I'm here feeling hopeful to meet new friends and connections. I can buy and make what I want :p If I don't include a proper note, I just spent 12 hours crafting something or studying and fried my brain.

I work in academia (Go Bears!) 🧸💙💛

In Tokyo, artists call me １いちご。 I like the play on words. 　一期一会。

I feel so happy with:

• manga + underground art　「 神様はじめました、桜蘭高校ホスト部、etc.」
• handwritten letters and paper exchanges
• STEM studies for the plot 😌
• tea rituals 🍵 (any! favs: matcha, hojicha, Breakfast in Paris, Passionflower, Hibiscus🌺)
• thrift/vintage shopping
• cafés, journaling, sketching
• dancing
• ✈️ EU + Asia
• 📞 telephone calls and laughter
• 🌊 Redwoods and beaches
• an analogue lifestyle
• Scents: Colognes, Lychee, Peach, Citrus, Red Currant (Ya girl's a lil fruity, what can I say! 😆😋)
• Rainy weather. Storms. (While I'm tucked away indoors with a hot mug and a kitty.)
• tiny tiiiny stickers
• Japanese 90s–2000s 平成 stationery
• 1960s typography + mod design
• Polynesian/Islander patterns and art

• Zines

🎀 My taste:

Heisei Japanese stationery FTW!

• Awawachan, etc.

(FAVVV favorite! Do I know their names? Barely.)

Sanrio:

• PuchiPuchiWanko 🐾🍓
• Hummingmint
• Cinnamoroll
• Pompompurin
• Keroppi
• Gudetama

• Bad Badtz-Maru

Colors I love: all blues / neon greens / all neons / purple / pink / peach

💋💄 For lipstick it's gotta be coral and those hot oranges

📩 Mail Notes:

• Postage is double checked, but if it's wrong, plmk! I will rectify it with you.

• Lost mail: Please message me so I can resend

• 📨 I looove and use cute stamps whenever possible

• The people behind the swaps matter more to me than the swaps themselves.

• I rate mail as soon as I receive it! If Swap-bot is having login issues, I'll rate it as soon as I can get back in.

💙 (Any faith. Any belief.) If you have space for a little prayer for my grandmother and childhood best friend, all kindness, blessings, and miracles are welcome. I now have two very dear people who are terminally ill. If you have any words of advice on how to make the most of the time I have left with them, I would love to hear them. Thank you for any kindness you can send their way. ♡ (This is also one of the reasons I'm taking a break from Swap-Bot.)

💐 Wishing you a lovely day, always.

🥂 Cheers! 🍻
