Hogwarts House Pride - USA Only

Yes, I'm still going strong on the Harry Potter mania, but I fully realize that when the last book is out, the only thing we fans will have to look forward to is the last two movies- and that's a dubious thing indeed! So I decided to start a swap to give us all something to get excited about once that last book is finished and placed sadly on our shelves (only to be reread time and time again!).

I love Slytherin, I admit it. I'm a complete Slytherin junkie, and I always want new stuff to improve my House Pride. I've got a scarf and a school uniform, but that doesn't seem like enough. I can always use more. So I decided to create a swap to get just that- things I might not have considered. Also, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw fans probably have trouble finding things for their obsessions. I thought to help.

The rules are simple:

1. Sign up

2. Post in your profile your favorite Hogwarts House (Ravenclaw fans, please specify if you prefer the blue/gray of the movies or blue/bronze of the books in case someone wants to make something). Also, if there's something you already have, post it there too if you don't want repeats in your collection.

3. Spend $10-15 minimum, please, and make things nice. Things you'd want to receive for your own House!

4. Send out a lovely package by the deadline!

A few more basics-

If you get a package, please rate a 5. If you're really impressed, give a heart. Send at least one item, though more is preferred, of course! It doesn't matter if it's store bought or hand made, if you spent 2 hours or 24, just make it lovely! Be creative! Newbies are allowed to join with full profiles. USA only to save on shipping- sorry! There's a long time between sign up and send date to ensure plenty of time for everyone to gather a nice package.

A few suggestions for home made items:

Scarves, bookmarks, wandbags, hats in school colors, journals, etc.

Enjoy! Don't mourn when the last book is out! Don't give up! Continue to support your favorite house!

(And I suspect Slytherin will really need the support after it's all over...)
