Description:

There are an awful lot of swaps for Christmas cards and presents, but what about us folks with December birthdays?! I love Christmas but I love my birthday too. My birthday is on December 24th, which means being majorly overshadowed by Christmas! I'm sure a lot of you with December birthdays experience this too.

So let's celebrate each other! The premise of this swap is simple: Send one birthday card to someone else, somewhere in the world, who also has their birthday in December!

Rules:
- Your birthday must be in the month of December!
- Users with good ratings, please.
- Newbies are welcome, but must have a complete profile and make some attempt at not looking flakey.
- Cards can be store-bought, printed from your own photographs, or handmade. Sender's choice!
- No Christmas cards, please.
- Please note this is a swap for birthday cards, not postcards. Usually these will be roughly the same size, but folded and sent in an envelope.
- It's your partner's birthday, after all - check their profile to get a feel for the kinds of things they like and what they might appreciate in a card. Send something nice, of quality that you would like to receive yourself. What you write is up to you!

The swap starts a bit early to accommodate those who may have early-December birthdays, given that this is an international swap, and Christmas post will soon be taking over!

Someone suggested adding a gift to the swap - a gift is not a requirement of this swap. If you would like to include one with your card, however, I'm certain it would be welcomed by your partner. That part is completely up to you!

Update 18.11.09: I have extended the send-by deadline by one day, as many members have not yet sent. (I didn't give you guys much time in the first place, and that was my error.) You now have until Friday, 20 November to send your card! I am hesitant to extend the date any further as some participants have birthdays on the 1st of December. :)
