Hard to Say Goodbye

Have you ever lost someone close? Maybe you didn't get to say something to that person that you wanted to? Maybe you wish you could talk to him/her now. This is a chance to help in the grieving process and/or to find some closure. It is also a chance to feel some comfort in knowing that you are not alone in your feelings; your hurt, anger, or sorrow and that others may feel like you do.

Write a letter to or about your loved one that reflects on the things that you loved most about that person. Say the things that you didn't get a chance to say. Ask the questions that you know there are no answers for.

This swap is not going to be an easy one, I'm sure. I'm going to give you some time to write the letter, but I don't want you to second-guess it once it's done. So, the sign-up date will be a few weeks away with only a week to write and mail the letters.

Please don't bail on this one. You could be a help to someone else.

Once you write the letter, make a copy, and then seal them both up for good. You will send the original to one person and the copy to another. (It doesn't make a difference who gets a copy or original). You will receive a letter from two people.
