I love Christmas. And I love scavenger hunts. So I thought I would put the two together :)

You will have one partner. To this partner you will send 5 items from the list below.

PLUS to help others less fortunate than ourselves please put a gift for a child or adult under one of the many charity trees available at Christmas time (check out Target or K-Mart). Write a note to your partner explaining what you gave, include a photo of your gift if you can. If you have a problem accessing a charity tree check out the many gift cards available at Oxfam and buy a chicken or school supplies for a needy family overseas instead!

Only send out items you would want to receive. I am not putting a monetary value on this as I am sure many people will like to hand craft their gifts.

Please list below if you would prefer to receive or not receive religious items.

Swappers with a 4.8 rating or higher only. I will check out profiles before partner assignment.

To re-cap! - 5 items from the above list PLUS a note (with photo if possible) explaining what gift you gave to help someone less fortunate have a Merry Christmas.

Be careful which charity tree you put the gift under though!! I worked out a refuge a number of years ago and when were sent gifts from a KMart tree for the kids in it the refuge, which I thought was wonderful... until I watched the staff take it all home for their own Kids, neices, nephews. I have never donated to one of those trees again and would rather donate them to people I know who are less fortunate at least then I know they get to the type of person they are intended for. Just thought people deserve to know that sometimes their gift wont be given to a needy child, but is stolen by members of staff at these places.... By the way I left the place, their values and ethics left much to be desired!!!

Nothing religious for me either please. And I would prefer an Oxfam donation/gift, than a present under a gift tree. Thanks heaps!

Yes Binky, your information does leave one to wonder. I know that 'staff' in Good Sammy's and St Vinnies do this ( knew somwone who worked there). I used to 'adopt' a family each year from the Salvos so I knew where my gift went. I was only given their Christian names and I remained anonymous. No offense intended....To those who request nothing religious...... isn't this what Christmas is about? religion..... to celebrate the birth of Christ ? If you're wondering ...no, while I don't profess to be religious myself I do believe in a higher power...and Angels.....How did I get onto all this ?.... What ever you believe and whatever you do, enjoy the Christmas season with your family, friends and anyone else and if you pray, pray for Love and Peace throughout the world.
